A 2006 Westminster Award of Merit Winner Ch Prairiwind's Secret Princess. We have Havanese in Israel, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Poland, Norway, Russia, Iceland and just recently in Singapore. Prairiwind has champions all over the US Europe and Canada and I am proud of the accomplishements I have made in producing the healthiest and most gorgeous Havanese that have made it all over the world.
We raise and show ONLY Havanese and we do not have any other breeds in our home. We purchased our first Havanese in 1995 and became so excited over this wonderful little breed that we had to get another one. We started out showing our first male Smallhaven Shelley's Beamer in ARBA (American Rare Breed Assoc) and then when they became fully recognized with AKC in 1999, we started showing our Havanese in AKC.
All of our Havanese puppies come with a 5 year health guarantee. Our Havanese puppies and dogs are raised in our home and underfoot so they are very well socialized. All of our Havanese dogs and Havanese puppies are AKC Registered. We breed for conformation, coat and health. All of our Havanese are Cerf'd yearly and screened for hip dysplasia & patellar luxation at 2 years of age and then registered with OFA.
Our kennel name was originally Shelley Meadows and that is why you will find some of our Havanese with the name of Shelley's on our pedigrees and these are our breeding.
